When Launching White Mode Stationary in Stratford-upon-Avon in 2008 I was looking to produce Wedding Stationary that offered brides to be, something a little different from the normal and to create stationary that oozed opulence and glamour in a simple yet very effective way that would encapsulate each clients requirements and personality.

I set about researching traditional and ethnic patterns for the vintage collections and sourcing up to the minute graphics for the more contemporary half of the portfolio and turning them into designs for the wedding stationary market, once all of this had been finalised  I had to decide the best method of print in order to set our stationery aside from the rest, we went through a lot of learning and experiment using traditional and modern print techniques to find out the most effective way of producing the stationery and decided to employ the ancient print technique of foil blocking for the majority of our printing as it looked fabulous and really gave the designs we had chosen a new dimension.
